On 17 May 1940 Genl. Guderian is ordered to halt by his superiors. After having established the bridge across the river Meuse, he uses the opportunity to refuel and re-stock whilst the infantry catches up with his tank divisions 1, 2 and 10. In the meantime he is sending a reconnaisance group further into France - much against his orders.
