A commission build that tells the story of a trainee's attempt to "suit up" while his instructor looks on in amusement.
Aircraft is the Silver Wings 1/32 Stearman resin kit with a Cockpit Wings 54mm Navy Pilot "instructor" and an old Valiant 54mm Navy/Marine Pilot "student".
All painted in Vallejo Model Color acrylics, with Model Master acrylic "Chrome Yellow" used on the Sterman.
The base is an inexpensive picture frame with a Scale Model Scenery 1/32 Garage floor pdf downloaded and printed on normal paper stock. Tufts of Static Grass are added to the seams and cracks.
